Cooktop igniter clicking and switches now do not work

GE cooktop, gas, 4-burner w/fan, installed in 2000 in new house. With swtiches all turned off, the igniter "clicks" once every few minutes.  Disconnected wire from right, rear switch and clicking went away. Had replaced this same switch once before with same problem. Then the clicking returned and if I disconnect the right, front switch, it stops.  In the process of doing that, like a genius I shorted the wire against metal and it sparked.  Now none of the 4 switches work nor the fan switch.  I assume/hope there is a fuse in the system.  As I look down into the bay where the 4 switches are, I can see a clear, plastic box screwed to the metal wall that looks like it may have fuses in it, but wanted to be sure before I start taking more things apart.

2 questions:
1) Is there anything else going on with the igniter and the 2 right switches or should I justs replace them?  They get a lot of use and grease gets dripped into them.
2) Is there a fuse and if there is, where is it's location - do I have the location right with respect to the clear, plastic box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It probably was the relay doing that and you probably finished it off
