Old Maytag washer, needs belts?

My mother has a old maytag washer. Maybe 20 + years old.
Not sure of the model number, but if you tip the washer back and look at the bottom you can see two belts.

The washer does not spin the cloths very dry any more. How can I tell if it just needs a new belt?

If you take the belts off and look at them, if there's a shiney look to them, it means they should be replaced...They're worn out...

they were shiney alright.
Got some new ones ordered.
