Kenmore (Fridgidaire) Front Load washer

push start - motor runs for 5-10 seconds - shuts down - replaced control panel - new control panel came with notice that front loader don't need reed switch anymore - diagnostic code says magnet or reed switch - magnet is in place - why doesn't this junk run?

The motor speed control is likely bad, not the control panel. There's a tech sheet inside the lower panel which will guide you thru the diagnostics.
