Whirlpool Wall oven/Micro

Tried to use self clean, unit blacked out and oven door locked up. Called for service and they replaced Assy. switch,Transformer(lights),Transformer(cntrl),Digital cntrl brd.,Still doesn't work!!!!!

Did they reset the breaker? It is not recommended to EVER use self clean in units that have electronics.
 The electronics simply cannot withstand the higher temperatures that self clean produces. If you should get it working again heed my advice. If your oven needs cleaning that is why they have "easy off" oven cleaner.

So that means they have to yank the dang thang out of its cozy cabinet enclosed position in order to get to that puppy. OOPz!

How old is this oven?

I remember a few years back Whirlpool had a lot of problems with built in oven after people would self clean them.

Many times the problem would not show up until after the one year warranty because the home owner never had to clean the oven in the first year.

Whirlpool had a repair kit at the time that included a larger fan and some door parts from what I remember. Maybe even some door hing shims.
