After reading this page we purchased,($30.00), the coil kit for our Kenmore Series 70 dryer, installed and it wasn't the problem. On "More Dry,"(and probably the other settings.Haven't tried them all), it just keeps going and going. We've jumped all the fuses too.

PLEASE HELP !

... Igniter Glow? No
Then it wouldn't be the Coils,

Have you checked the Igniter ?  (may be 400 OHMS at room temperature)

including this Thermal Fuse ?

Is there any heat from the Gas ?

When you replaced the coils did you clean out the dryer by taking it apart and throroughly removing all the lint build up including the outside vent? If the dryer needs cleaning then it ain't gonna run right.

I don't see a spark when I'm looking through the eyehole of the dryer.Should I check it with a meter anyway?Could it just be dirty? Do igniters get dirty or should it be replaced. Thanks!
