I have repaired my washer machine... it was the Hall Sensor... I had to buy the entire motor assy for that.

Glad you got it fixed. If I wanted to buy one of those machines would you recommend it?

I have checked with two spare parts suppliers, the Hall Sensor is not available alone. It's comming with the motor assy.
The motor part no. is WMD-300C2 (110V)
The Hall Sensor part no. is SB 040302 (i'm not sure, that's the number writen on the part) see picture attached.

Funny thing is that I have exactly the same model as you do and with the same error code. How much and where did you pick up the replacement motor from?

The local repair shop that LG recommended came by for $70 only to open up the back and tell me they want to replace both the logic board and the motor for $500+.  >:(

I'm in Montreal area, see www.serviceseps.com in Laval. Thay have the motor assy for 159Cad including tx. Don't change the logic board... the guy that advised you to do that dosn't take any chance... because he's incompetent.

yes, that is the one I browsed originally, reference for Quebec's (on the end of the discussion) of  place where I can but a whole motor doesn't show me the info. I might be wrong, can you try.

I've successfully repaired this sensor.

There is no reason to replace the motor.

I can give detailed information on repair if anyone is interested please email me --email address removed.
