F-20 Code on my front loading washer

The machine starts to run but shortly into any cycle it stops and  the F20 code flashes on the panel.  One of the trouble shooting items of adivse is to check the pump filter which is located where?

Remove the lower panel (3 screws on bottom edge). Right in front of you with the panel removed is the pump. There will be a white or grey plastic handle which will unscrew and the filter will pop out, along with whatever water is left in the machine,.  Be sure to unplug it first and have a couple of towels handy.

If your electric pump chatters when it tries to drain, replace it.

RM that pump is 120 v right? To test it you could remove the wires and put a power cord with 120 volts on it to see how it does correct? After clearing any objects out of it first of course.

Actually to test it, I start the machine on a spin cycle

I carry a voltage pen to let me know when it's energized.
