GE TFX20JR Not working, both sides

    I have a TFX20JR and both sides have quit working. I heard a squealing noise for about 3 - 5 seconds. I thought it was the neighbors lawn mower, but about an hour and a half later I went to get some ice and it was melting. I cleaned the coils and unplugged and replugged in the unit but nothing works but the lights and it does not cool either side.
    Is this thing done for good? Or is there possibly a reset button of some sort?

Unlike Staples, there is no "Easy" button, nor a reset

I would first go to the fresh food section and locate the defrost timer behind the upper rear panel. This timer can be manually advanced with a coin or screwdriver. Turn it at least 90 degrees to see if the compressor tries to start up.

I would then go to the rear and check for 120 volts at the compressor relay. If voltage is present and the compressor won't run, it may be bad.
