Maytag Centennial

Anyone have any ideas why a maytag centennial fills with more water each time the lids is open and closed.  Even when the tub is already filled to the correct level  The water level pressure switch checks out on all three terminals when air pressure is applied.  The air tube is not restricted.

Check the tube to the water level switch for a slow leak.
