I didn't have to travel out of town, just needed to find a suitable proctor for the exam. I did take all 8 together otherwise the cost goes way up. The entire thing took about 3 hours and there are 340+ questions (I lost count). Glad it's done and on the record. The NASTeC test I will need to travel for and it's format is a bit different, but the concept is about the same. Once I take and pass that one, then I will apply to become a proctor because we currently have none in the Portland area. Then I can proctor the exam out of our training center for current techs and students completing their trainings.
