maytag neptune dryer is really noisy

I have a neptune washer and dryer unit with the dryer on top.
We got it used really cheap a couple years ago.

The last few days the dryer has starting making a grinding noise.

Is this something we could repair ourselfs?

Disconnect the power to the dryer.
Remove the front of the dryer, then the front frame that the drum rides on.

The frame that supports the front of the dryer has a couple pads on it that the drum rides on.

They wear out and then the drum rides on the frame instead of the pads giving you a grinding sound.
