dishwasher no drain durning normal , but works on normal ?

HI I have a profile d.w.  the unit leaves water in bottom durning the normal cycle. but if i manually drain it and put it on rinse cycle it works good. I noticed it has a control board and a big sequence switch? which one is usually the problem child?? The sequence switch is a little noisey?     tks for your help   JPG

Replace the "sequence switch" a fancy term for timer. Part number is WD21X10018

Well shoot I replaced the timer and it does the same thing?? I supose the next logical step is the control???

Back to the drain issue, remember that these drain lines must not be extended, nor should they be brought in at the base of the cabinet. This makes it difficult for the unit to discharge water efficiently. Be sure the drain hose is above the level of the disposer or wherever it drains out, or water can siphon back from the drain and collect in the unit.
 During the Normal wash, does it go into a drain cycle before it enters the rinse? If so, is it a forceful discharge into the sink?

the drain is above the disposal, and it always worked b 4 recently. Does that control have anythingto do with draining? I appreciate your input, I will try a control after that i just dont now......jpg

Yeah, at this point I would be looking at a control also.
