my ice make and water dispenser stopped making ice and dispensing water,so i replaced the water valve and the water dispenser works but still no ice. So i filled the ice try with water to see if it would freeze and dump the ice,it froze but did not dump, i also used a blow dryer to thaw the water line but still no dump and ice.

Get that ice maker out of the unit and onto the workbench.
remove the cover. remove the ice feeler rod. Remove the screws to the module and remove it. Remove the 2 Phillips screws that hold the housing to the ice mold. Inside that housing is going to be the true brain of the outfit(the mold thermostat).
Replace that thermostat. You can test that thermostat by putting it into a freezer. After a few hours it should have continuity. If it is open when it is freezing then it is bad. Replace it.

The icemaker on this model is controlled by an infrared board.

Before you rip the icemaker apart, remove the receiver board on the right wall, unplug it, then use a paper clip to jumper the black and black/white wires. If the icemaker starts, replace the boards. The boards both come in a single kit.
