I've tried turn the shaft and no go. If I had the time to mail order, I would definetly use this site's supplier, but this machine has been down a few days, and I may be out of town next week.

Sounds like you found the trouble. :)

Sometimes local parts places work out best when they have the part in stock and the job can be finished the same day.

Please keep us posted..

Hope you find our website helpful.

Well guys, The local Sears did not have the part in stock, so I ordered through your web site Once it comes in, and all is well, I promise to update all and make a donation to the site. Everyone has been great in helping me out.

Cheers and beers to all (you know who you are)

We had a wonderful time. A big cake and punch. A bunch of nice presents and even some barbque. Lots of folk showed up and a good time was had by all.

I had that problem once. Saw the coupling turning but drum did not turn. Turned out that the tranny end of the coupling was split and rounded out. It was turning but not the tranny.
