How do you access the ice dispenser motor on a Kenmore Elite side-by-side Model No. 106.56716500?

I carefully studied the manual. However, there's no access on my fridge as shown in the manual. The only screws anywhere on the inside of the freezer door are the ones for the ice auger. The fridge was built in 2005. Could access be through the front where the dispenser paddles are located?

Hmm,

Not sure off hand then. Never had a sears one apart myself.
Maybe one of our other members would know.

Does the motor not run at all or can you hear it running, but it does not do anything?

As far as I can tell, it doesn't run at all. I hear a click when the dispenser paddle is pushed but I think it is the flapper actuating because it opens. I suppose the motor is bad; however, I find that puzzling because the dispenser is rarely used. Although, maybe rare use caused a strain on the motor when we did use it.
