I took a look but to be honest with you I don't have a clue as to what the answer would be, sorry.

I, The SublimeMasterJW have answered the question. Ido not think an american made dryer will work on straight 220 volts. The motor in these dryers is 110 volt and uses the neutral bar and a hot leg. Electricity in england is 50HZ and straight 220 volts from the wall. If they were to use the dryer over there then the motor would burn up.

Thanks for posting - I think our poster has been misinformed at purchase.... he appears to be thinking "3 phase". Personally I think he needs a HD drop-down transformer - rather unlikely in the UK.
