Here you go.  I looped it, went under the white wheel and around the motor part.  Is it correct?

you are good there, so just tilt the drum back on the drum rollers place the front cover on and get it lined up. Once the front is on, you can test it by grabbing one of the baffles inside the drum and give it a spin. There is going to be some resistance because you are spinning the drum, drum rollers, belt and motor.

Okay.  I'm gonna try it!  Let you know in a bit.  Thank you!
Actually...maybe you could tell me what my problem is.
My dryer just died on me.  It makes a clicking sound when I turn the timer knob...kinda feels like a quick, low hum.
I was checking the belt, but could it be the motor or some sensor?

Part number--is it on the belt?  The washer is a Roper Dryer Model RED4440VQ1

Yep.
It wasn't the belt.
Still dead.
Is there a part I need?  Does anyone know?

You got to tell us why you change to belt is it because it was broke you thought it would fix a dead dryer?Did you plug in door switch after you got front panel on?Thermal fuse is a common part and will make dryer drop dead and you can check that with a volt ohmmeter. Also make sure you have proper voltage. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-dryer-thermal-fuse-3392519-ap3132867.html

Some times you can use a spring clamp like this one: http://m.homedepot.com/p/HDX-2-in-Spring-Clamp-80002/100027346/
Slip it to the back on the felt.
