LG dryer DLE2701V

Pushed the start button it made a pop. Front panel now dead. Light works inside of drum. Also have power at the wall plug? HELP!!!!! (LG model DLE2701V)

Sounds like the relay board has expired.  Before replacing it, check the circuits to make sure nothing has grounded to cause that short.
