Yes I agree, except this model has been known to start fires from 60 watt bulbs staying on after door is shut, or to melt the bulb housing. Since the board temp. display goes out also when door is shut, I would say the original factory board was poor design, shorting and not turning off light, also board would not respond to temp. adjustment. I'm sure LG has revised the board, Some body robbed the tech sheet, I'm confident this will not happened again. I also put two new 40 watt bulbs in, not the 60w max it calls for. Thanks for you reply, and yes now days brands all have their quirks., like some self clean ovens were blamed for house fires. Any thing that has the potential to cause house fire needs to be taken very serious.
