No Start Whirlpool Dryer

Whirlpool Duet Dryer Model# WED9200SQO and everything lights up as usual and the wet clothes light is on but when you press start... NOTHING! Is it the start fuse,the belt or what else should I look for! Thanks in advance !! I just figured it would not be the start fuse as it does power up?? I am not for sure on this!!! You guys are ALWAYS a Great Help and I really do Appreciate you ALL!!!

Yes it could be the thermal fuse.Also check for proper voltage at outlet.Here is a TECH SHEET.

dab147315 - when you say thermal fuse are you meaning the thermistor? Where is the termal fuse located? Thanks in advance for the help!!

It is right next to the thermistor which you should check out too.

I just had a Whirlpool Duet Sport that had a (bad) cold solder joint on the PCB board that is under the top lid on left side. I took board out and noticed a burn on the relay. I re-soldered the board where the burn was and BINGO everything was perfect. Check for Burnt solder joint on the back of the board. The Duets are known for that.

Found the problem! The tension pulley for the belt with the roller wheel had broke off and the belt was off ... new pulley wheel and we are back in business!! Thanks for the help!!
