Remember to check the country of origin on the tools you buy. Most craftsman stuff is made in China.  If the tool specifically says USA, it's made right here. If it doesn't say anything then it's made overseas.

Yep, probably 85% china now.  I went on a spending spree last year to complete all my craftsman set collection.  Sockets, wrenches, pliers, drivers, etc. The guys working there said to get them now.

I dont think we will see "Forged in USA" anytime soon on a craftsman tool.  And I can't afford the truck prices.

Same warranty, but just not the same imo.  Honestly, have not been back since.

most of the new klein are made overseas now..   >:(
My 6" nut drivers were not made here

Really?  Check your local Home Depot.  I just bought the 1/4" and 5/16" magnetic long and stubby nut drivers and stubby 6-n-1.  All five tools have "Made in USA" right on them.

I got mine on eBay for less. Both 1/4 and 5/16 magnetic 6 inch for $17.99 & free ship. Bought 2 sets just in case.

Yes mine too, but according to their page while most tools are made here in the states some are indeed made over seas.
