Hello all,
I have an admiral dryer that starts just fine. The igniter lights, the flames comes on, but after a few the flame cuts off and the dryer continues to tumble. This will happen again and the igniter lights with flame starting, then the flame cuts off. I'm sure it's a sensor, but not sure which one. Thanks.

Restricted airflow will cause the high limit thermostat to short cycle the burner. Run the dryer with the vent disconnected and see if there is a difference.

You also can see this with weak valve coils.
