Thanks for the video. Haven't seen that device before. Certainly falls under the KISS rule. So good airflow pulls the card off its hanger.

Don't understand why Whirlpool would go through the trouble of creating and posting a video about it and then not give us the part number, but that seems to be what they have done, lol...

I use mine a lot, good to see how air flow is without going outside and wandering around the house. Only works on Whirlpool dryers and some others. It won't work well on Whirlpool units with a belt driven blower. The only confusing part is why is it poor heat on electric but OK on gas? Never spent the time to read the manual maybe an answer in there.

I see a flaw with this test. It only tells if you have airflow exiting the drum, it doesn't show what the airflow isover the element.  I can tell how good the airflow is by watching the element.  Bright red=bad airflow, dull red=good airflow.
