Lesguns, why do you hope G.E. sells of their appliance devision? Are you a share holder?

Who would G.E. sell it to? Maybe Whirlpool, Sear or LG?

If G.E. feels they are not making enough profit on their appliance devision now I would think one of the first thing anyone buying it would look at is how they could cut cost. This may mean lay offs and yet cheaper materials being put into building their appliances.

I just don't see how G.E. selling off their appliance devision could be a good thing.
Hope you find our website helpful.

I'd they were to sell it, I would think Frigidaire or LG would be interested since they are partners already.

I don't feel that would be good.  The more American options (even though half their stuff is made overseas) the better.    Hope it does not happen.   Low,  your right.  Frigidare has been making their dryers and they were using LG to make their refrigerators.    We'll see what happens
