LE code on LG LDF7932ST
« on: March 27, 2014, 01:23:50 AM »
Hi, several days ago I code the "LE" code for a LG LDF7932ST that we have bought in January 2012, just over two years ago, serial number 102KWAT00248

I tried again tonight and it ran for a little longer but eventually I got the LE again. Now the bottom has water in it.

According to "the Internet" it's the sump pump. Advice? Shall I just order one and replace it?

make sure that the pump does not have debris in it or a plugged drain line

many times a piece of plastic wrap a small piece of glass etc. will jamb impeller or plastic or glass gets in drain line, and check where drain line enters drain under sink  very common place to plug up, you can sometimes drain water out of bottom of dishwasher at under sink drain by disconnecting drain and use a shop vac if you have one.

So, it happened that I tried again and the dishwasher was able to perform two cycles without problems, the first was a quick one, the second was the all-inclusive powerscrub strong steam extra rinse.

However, the machine emits some "grinding" noise that is relatively loud. I recorded it and you can hear it in the following video; do you think I should get ready and buy some replacement for when the dishwasher will have "eaten" all its gears  :'( ?? ??

Also, can you give me an advice where the little hose in the pictures should go? My small kid pulled it out from somewhere... over the course of a washing cycle it spits out some water...

@manoweb

I am not exactly sure where that hose goes, but maybe you should check the manual, since it would say in the appliance repair manual where that hose goes im sure.

hope that helps :)
and i hope your weekend is going great!

Hose routes down into right door hinge area,  behind the two screws attaching inner door panel and black hinge.  O0

arstb thanks for the link! Unfortunately I haven't found info on that document where this hose goes
domain thanks! I'm looking for the right spot, but I haven't found it yet. What should I be looking for, some sort of nipple the hose has to be inserted into? I can't close the front panel of the dishwasher otherwise!

Hey which one is it, A or B? Sorry for the stupid question but I have really no idea where the hose goes... when running the dishwasher before I put it in a bucket and it leaked a small amount of water... what is this thing supposed to do and more importantly where does the water go? Thanks!!!!!!!

A. Exits into tub for draining. It is for condensation of the hybrid dry system or any water getting away past the wax motored puck.  :welcome:

Thank you very much! Do you have any advice for that noise that I have recorded in the Youtube video? My wife says the noise has started several months ago and seems to be growing louder...

You have two noises lol. A clack which is caused by a foreign object hiting the serator blade. Sump needs disassembled to check. The whistle is caused by a dry motor shaft seal causing that noise.  :welcome:
