Automatic wire stripper advice needed.
« on: March 26, 2014, 08:58:20 PM »
I'm looking to purchase an automatic wire stripper. The one I want strips wires from 10-22 AWG. Does anyone know what the average wire size is in most dryers and washers? I have a feeling most of them are below 10 AWG. Any suggestions?

I haven't tried that kind of wire stripper, but I did get a set of klein katapults a while back, and they're fantastic. Between these and a set of dedicated crimpers it makes putting bimetals in side by sides (or anywhere else with no space and wiring thats too short ) a lot easier.

Thank you! I'll consider those. Tight spaces is mainly the reason I want a pair.

I have had a pair of those klein strippers for 37 years. They are one of my most indispensable tools.
