Maytag md8h945awb Low water pressure after inket valve
« on: February 25, 2014, 07:06:18 PM »
I recently replaced the inlet valve 3 weeks ago its been working great except for the water intake seems to fill very quickly and when it would shut of the pipes in the house would jar. now suddenly yesterday the water seems to just trickle doesn't even fill enough to wash dishes. voltage is good to inlet valve. the new inlet valve came with an additional coil so i tried replacing that still does the same thing can anyone maybe shed some light to this sudden problem inlet valve is only 3 weeks old

Thank you

Ok was working on this again this morning  took the valve apart did a test on the coil with a 120 test lead coil is pulling in when voltage is applied and going back out when lead is removed. I put it back together reassembled the dishwasher with the valve. still very low water flow in the dishwasher. so i decided to use the test lead again but this time with the valve connected to the dishwasher still low water pressure on the fill side. So i disconnected the main water supply line from the valve put it in the sink thinking maybe the line could be clogged  great water pressure from the line i am baffled. every hole in the valve is clear no obstructions anywhere I then put the fill tube in a 33.9 oz coffee can while hooked up to the dishwasher started the cycle and it only fills the can halfway any help here would be great thank you
