GENERAL DW QUESTION
« on: January 21, 2014, 06:13:51 PM »
My question is concerning a DW dosen't clean well. After the filers have been cleaned out I still have the trouble with dishes not getting clean, one case I had major grease build up in the unit. Is there a usual suspect to check after the filters have been cleaned ? The units I've been working on are GE's (don't have Model # at the moment) I am a property maintenance tech and these units are in apartments.

Check the water level.  Check to see if the drain is stuck open.  If the drain solenoid is melted, you will need to replace both the timer and the solenoid.  Check the heater.
