Robinair RG3 recovery machine review
« on: August 29, 2015, 11:46:36 AM »
First off I have been using the unit for about two months now and have to say I am impressed.  This is a small unit great for appliance work and has the ability to push pull so for the odd large capacity job it works great too.  The controls are easy no purge setting (a plus not a drawback) unit recovers the average frig in no time and is small enough that it doesn't take up a lot of space in my truck.  The size is what got my attention been using an old G2000 that was over priced and over sized worked good but had to many features.  The Robinair is inexpensive light weight and easy to use I highly recommend to anyone that does sealed system work you don't need all those bells and whistles on over priced machines tank level sensor connections, built in sight glass, dual fans those are just weight.  When recovering 5oz. those things just are not needed.

Jason

ps I also recommend the vacuum pumps been using same for past 10 years still pulls deep
