WR30X10093 ice maker question
« on: October 03, 2014, 08:27:07 AM »
I have a WR30X10093 model ice maker. The paddle seems to get ice on it and slows or stops the ice maker from working. I removed the ice maker and have found no signs of breakage. Not sure if I should try to adjust the set screw and lower the water level? Is it worth a try? Is the screw on the side with the +- the water level?  Anyone had this kind of problem before? Thanks for any help.

Does it have the curved paddle? (it should, unless it's one of a certain few bottom freezer models): http://www.appliancepartspros.com/ge-feeler-arm-field-wr49x10103-ap3717431.html but call GE and they'll (probably) send you one free.
