Door on ice dispenser will not close

The ice dispenser trap door will not close after dispenser ice.  We have to close it by hand.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

replace the spring loaded door

By the by I found GEGSS22JFMWW
A bit troubling so I did GSS22JFMWW  and the closest the model number to yours was GSS22JFMDWW and that is where I found the door part. (I sold appliance parts for 15 years)
