I'm with schleven. That's what it sounds like especially since it's a GE. I've done them & it's a lot of work for any tech. Sometimes it's like a bad marriage, just time to part ways.

Look @ the photos. That's ge model # & duets don't have those type backs. P

The model # is for the pedestal. That's my bad but I still believe it's a ge that's why I believe it's the bearing. I've got 2 in our shop that have the same problem.

Lowhook, schleven is right. Since it's a Ge just about positive that's what it is. I've gotten 2 brought in the shop in the last 3 weeks & both have bad bearings doing that. Bang. & shake to high heaven.
