My dryer isn't heating up, I have checked everything except the heating coils and everything is good. The biggest issue I have is accessing where the heating coils are. All the videos I have seen show the heating coils and thermal fuse easy to get to on the back, this is not the case on my dryer. These items are inside on the right middle, you have to reach for them from the back left making it almost impossible to get to. I would assume that the front cover lifts, but it won't seem to give and I don't really want to break it. So two questions how do you get the top to release, I have push against these for all I am worth with a putty knife, do I pry it and push on the clip at the same time? Second can the heating element be access through the front, it would make it possible to check this part and remove it with much less issue if I could remove the front, but I guess I am worried about damaging the dryer. I have included a diagram of this dryer. I can try to get a photo of what it looks like under there if anyone one thinks that will help.
