LG Dishwasher LDF6920ST Leak
« on: February 14, 2014, 01:02:20 PM »
LG dishwasher leaks from left side when using any cycle except delicate.  Had the technition out and he could not find the reason.  He wanted to take it back to the shop and run it and charge me a ton.  Anyone have any ideas?

Check the Serial Number.

If the Serial Number is 010KWxxx (2010/October) or lower...

Replace the Guide Assembly (4975DD1001A) to stop/prevent leaking that occurs 30 minutes to an hour *after* a cycle has been started.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The Guide Assy part number has NOT been changed.

The *build date* on the Guide Assy---is the only way to know if it is the flawed or revised part.

The date on the Guide Assy should show a build date of November 01 2010 or newer.
