Regrettably, I bought this thing (DMT800RHS) two years ago and have replaced the control board three times (twice under warranty) This time replacing the control board didn't fix it. There are no lights or touch pad response at the control pad. According the the trouble shooting "fast track" document posted on this site (thanks, that helps a lot) the control board should see +5V across pins 1-6, and +12 V across pins 2-6. I have confirmed that all six wires that go from the main PCB to the control board are good. There is no +5V or +12 V on the main PCB where the wire harness that feeds the control board connect. There is 120V AC coming onto the board.
Question: Am I on the right track replacing the main PCB board which I assume has the circuitry to create 5 and 12 V?
Thanks for any help, and yes, sign me up for a class action lawsuit against Samsung)! (Kidding)
