Maytag Neptune TL Washing Machin

Went to a customers house today, her washing machine will fill up and over flow, I thought I would do a code Diag. just for the experience. Could only get a code 33, and that code was not in the list of codes. Any help would be appreciated.

check and see if the little hose has wiggled off from tub bottom to level switch if that contraption has such a thang. Could be it needs to be blowed out . Lint gets in the older machines and stops up the hose.

If the airline tubing is intact, you simply need to confirm that the water level switch is or is not closing when the machine fills. Since the unit only draws 4 gallons or so of water, the switch should be satisfied according to the tech sheet you have in your possession. A quick check of the  contacts at the pressure switch will show you where you stand. You can physically hear the diaphragm inside the switch click when the airline charge is satisfied.

Thanks JW and Repair-man, the switch was bad and I also went ahead and did get some trash out of the airline tube, Thanks to both of you guys. I really like this site where info can be passed on to us new guys on the block.
