I'm stoked. The state deposited my check. I got my license number. One step closer to my own biz.

Now for some insurance...

we don't have state licensing for appliance repair here.


   Strange I guess.  You just need business insurance, and to be set up in the parish(county) and municipality you are in for tax reasons, and for them to have your work truck info on file.

California has a license for everything.    Pretty soon you'll need a license to go to the bathroom out there.

No licence needed here in Arizona unless its AC/heating. Here my neighbor and I think his grandmother started advertising appliance repair. and his cousin and I think his dog. Not sure but I think it was his dog I seen at the parts house the other day...............

Congratulations & Good Luck with the new business!

There isn't a state license here in Texas either - thankfully!  I ended up with insurance through Hartford.  It's around $44 a month for a 2MM policy just FYI.

Keep us posted on how things are going.
