Spots on dark clothes from a Whirlpool Duet washer
« on: October 21, 2013, 07:10:41 PM »
Hello everyone, I got a call on a Whirlpool Duet washer, model no. WFW9500TW01 & serial no. CSW44055780.  My customer says she is getting spots on some of her dark clothes that look like water or oil drops.  It only comes on her dark clothes.  I cleaned as much mold & dirt that I could from the front door boot (bellows) and checked her dispenser.  She told me that she does not use fabric softener.  Why this does not show up on light or white clothes I don't know.  Could it be her detergent or amount of it?  Could it be she is using the wrong cycle?  If anyone has run into this problem please let me know what you did to correct it.  Thank you very much!  Tom
