I think this is the smartest use for a lg top loader I've seen. Fancy piece of junk but In this case not so bad ;)

The LG top loaders are VERY sensitive to loads. Loaded orrect, and they are NICE machines... O0

I guess you could do that in any top loader with a wash plate.  Neat.

When the top load first came out I had one that the tub came loose in spin.  Looked like a bomb went off.  Must say I haven't seen any problems lately. I have heard there is a  warranty flash on the board that  fixed the problem. ??

i been doing this for the past ten yrs at all my kids party i glad i am not the only one my wife always hate the ideal and i show her this she just nod her head and walk away lol  :rofl:

Correct. Some of the earliest 1st generation models did not possess the proper software containing the ability to sense or detect an out of balance condition. New software versions 130/131 ensure a safe and balanced two stage spin.  :welcome:
