I have a stove where 3 gas valves locked up at the same time  and 1 which is stuck open. also the fan comes on when u plug the cord in the wall, even if i disconnect the fan switch.. What kind of wierd gas valves r these??? If i replace that glass relay that will probably take care of the fan problem right? what about the locked up switches., I turned on the gas and the one stuck valve has gas shuting through it.   H  E  L  P  !!!!!!!!    JPG

I can't say that I've ever seen three valves lock up at the same time but it is possible to unstick them. First take the knobs off and see if they will turn with a pair of needle nose pliers. Don't force them or you'll break the stem. If they won't budge, try WD40 first. If there are any switches on the stem, remove them. Spray the WD40 around the stem while pushing in and out on it. If that doesn't work, you'll see two small 3/16 screws holding the face of the valve on. Remove those screws while holding the stem and face plate. There's a spring in there. After the screws are out, carefully pull the stem and faceplate straight out. Use your finger to put a light coat of white lithium grease around the cone and put it right back in and put the screws in. If the valves were hard or stiff to turn before they locked up then this will fix it. However if they were turning free before they locked up then I doubt they need any lubrication. Look for the cause elsewhere. My guess would be the knobs.

I was just going over a parts breakdown of your cook-top and I noticed two valves are right turn only and two valves are left turn only. Check the knobs first.

The 2 gas valves on the left were set to accommodate a griddle cartridge if I am not mistaken. This would cause the fan to come on thru a set od switches mounted on the valve body. Since you said 3 were stuck, assume that the valve switches are causing the fan issue. You're looking at a repair job that may outweight the cost of replacing the cooktop.
