Checked relay and cutoff checks ok but the refrigerator continuously cycles, thinking it might be the thermostat now...  checked voltage at thermostat when compressor is off still at 120 volts. Any ideas would be appreciated, Thanks! Whirlpool model # ET8WTKXKQ09

When thermostat opens you will get 120 volts across its terminals and when it closes you will get zero voltages. If its cycling that that fast just jump it out and wait awhile and see what happens. But the method i stated above is the way you would check out the thermostat. When the door is open and voltmeter across those terminals the thing should run and you should get no voltage. If you get voltage bad thermostat.
