GE Side by side leaks only when you get water
« on: September 20, 2013, 10:36:05 PM »
So I'm going out on this repair on Tuesday. Hoping you guys might have come across this before. I'm thinking it's the filter. Leaking from bottom only when water is used. Thanks guys.

They are famous for putting the water lines next to the HOT compressor, I carry two 5/16" compression unions and extra tubing. I also use pieces of an old self clean oven door gasket to cover the tubing around the compressor.

Great thanks I'll make sure I've got 5/16 compression fittings and line in the truck . I've also have some oven gasket laying around somewhere. Really appreciate the help.
