Whirlpool Range Broken Glass
« on: June 09, 2008, 08:17:34 PM »

Model Number: RF376PXYQ2 icon, the customer had the misfortune of breaking their inner door glass after removing a roast from the oven and setting the pan on the door for a brief moment. The glass used in the oven doors is tempered and heat resistive, but can have difficulty when exposed to direct heat (conduction heat) from items that have been in the oven for a length of time. So I replaced the glass and now the customer knows not to use the inside of the door as a resting place.

I had to order her a new glass of course and I believe she had quite a mess. I have ordered glass for numerous funny reasons. One guy was painting the kitchen and broke the Glass top on a brand new stove $400. Another time the guys at the furniture store(several times) tightened the straps too tight and busted the oven door$100. Another maintenance guy was leaving Lowe's and only had to go 2 blocks ,refused to let the guys at Lowe's tie it down and a gust of wind blew it over and busted the front of a brand new stove. $100 bucks. A Lady wasCanning using a huge pressure cooker on the glass top. Can you imagine what happened? LOL!

 BAKED STUFFED POPCORN CHICKEN

6-7 lb. Chicken
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brush chicken well with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for the popping sounds. When the chicken explodes and blows the oven door open -- and the chicken flies across the room, it's done.
