Noisy whirlpool refrigerator
« on: June 09, 2008, 10:11:59 AM »
Our refrigerator is cooling good and seem to run fine, but every now and then it make a lot of noise.

Best I can tell the noise is coming from the back of the freezer.

Any idea's what it could be?

Hi,

See if you notice if it only does it when the fan is running.
If it only makes the noise when the fan is running then I would replace the evaporator fan motor in the freezer.

I have noticed that is when the fan is running.

I would then replace the evaporator fan motor in that freezer.

I would put some zoom oil on the fan motor before replacing it.
