Dacor Single Oven CPS130S which board question

(1/2) > >>

Wedgeman55:
I have a lady who has 2 Dacor CPS130S ovens side by side in her kitchen.   I put a glass pack in one of them today (pretty easy,  never did one before).    Nice that the whole pack goes in as a unit instead of Kitchen Aid with the seperate panels.    Anyway,  the other one will start on either Bake,  broil,  convection bake or pure convection.    Display comes up,  select 350 then start.    It stays on for maybe a minute or less,  then shuts off.    No error code.    On every cycle.    All the touch pad seems ok,  not sticking as far as I can tell.    Did anyone run into this problem before?     There is a main control board and a relay board.    the main control is NLA  (I could send to fixyourboard) or the relay board (which is available).    Anyone?    Or could it be something else.    Thanks in advance for any help.

Wedgeman55:
Just love these designer brands.   I'm gonna call Dacor today and see what they say.   I'll let you guys know what happens.   My instinct tells me it's in the main board,  as there is no error codes popping up.  Don't think it would be the relay board as it should be showing an error.   That's my thinking.

Since the main board tells the relay board what to do that would be my guess too.

I called Dacor out in Cali,  and they said it was main board.    Since it is "obsolete" in their words,  I'm gonna pull it and send it to fix your board.   Thanks for input, old stove.    The ovens themselves look like brand new.    she didn't want to have to remodel whole kitchen.

DEPENDING on difficulty of removal and if the two ovens are identical, I would have asked and switched the parts to verify the MAIN pcb is at fault before shipping it out. I have had TECHNICAL support almost guarantee a certain PCB was bad off the specific symptoms :-\, when in fact, was not.
