Yea the onslaught of Texas summer is finally upon us.   Hot humid days & warm nights becoming scorching days & hot nights with high humidity.  After an unseasonable cool spring.

Have you had a nice summer?   Hot & very humid but no rain for us down south on the third coast.   No hurricane season to speak of.  A small one went south of us into Mexico last week which brought us welcomed rain.  That rain front has pushed back down this week so it has been soggy for two weeks now.   The unwelcomed mosquitoes are populating leaps & bounds,  Tides are unusually high.

Another note that Big oil spill off of  Louisiana from BG oil rig has been coming ashore this summer, harming the coastal marine life environment.  Fishing will probably decline in years to come as the ripple effect is applied.

Here in baltimore, been more rain all summer then ever had, now fall is here,  not as much rain. Drying up with daytime highs in 70's,  lows in the 40's. Feel the hunting season air coming in. Feels good!!!

Feel the hunting season air coming in. Feels good!!  I know what you are feeling. first bird shipment comes in Saturday. Dove season was really slow. Archery is underway , I have been out three times and have yet to see a deer .Way to much corn in all around me. I planted over 19 pounds of turnips. The large leafy kind. The deer love them and man are they growing .
