Just took a look at it here after reading your reply.
http://fieldpiece.com/clamp-meters/sc56

Looks nice!

Somethings that caught my attention...

Swivel Head Clamp Meter!
Clear view at any angle!
Backlight Dual Display to display multiple information simultaneously
Includes K-type Thermocouple
Non-contact Voltage (NCV)

I know this may sound silly, but I like the shape and color too, lol..
Looking at the Fluke I like size and color compared to the Extech EX632, but I like some of the additional features on the Extech over the Fluke.
Yet the Extech is so darn ugly looking to me, lol... Green and orange, bulky looking around the clamp.

That fieldpiece look really sweet!

The display looks awesome!

Let us know when you get it and what you think of it, thanks!

hester, just looking at the SC56 service manual.

Temp Range: -40F to 2200F, (-40C to 1200C) - Wow!

LED Flashlight in clamp head, nice!

I was so close to ordering the Fluke 902 this afternoon too, so glad I waited and so glad you posted.

Any reason you picked that model over another fieldpiece?

Extech looks nice.   I had a meter in the early 80's,  I think it was a sperry.   Had a swivel head on it.   Nice in tight spaces so you could see the meter good.  I like the idea of a swivel head.     May add one of those to my collection of meters.

We have a Johnstone Supply store near us,  and I'm going to check that SC56 out in person.     I re-did my tool box and now am carrying a meter inside the box.     I have 2 other meter bags with an array of meters (We all discussed this in a previous post),   but I want to consolidate things a bit.    I'm looking for One meter that will do everything.     I just hate being a tool junkie at times,   always looking for the Next best thing in meters and tools.

I haven't gotten to try an sc56, but I have a sc66 and it's a tank, it's put up with several years of abuse, drops, and water without any issue.
