Refrigerator defrost drain problem
« on: July 26, 2013, 02:57:07 PM »
I am working on a GE refrigerator model # GFSS6KKYCSS ( I believe built by Samsung). This unit is a french door unit with 2 evaporators and the drain for the refrigerator wont drain out the water and is getting on their wood floors. I tried squirting boiling water down the drain multiple times and used a CO2 blaster to try to clean out the drain with no luck. Anyone run into this problem b-4.

P.S. I even tried to go up from the back and seemed to hit a plastic wall.                    :tickedoff:

Anyone run into this problem b-4,yes. I have had a couple that took quite a bit of time to get open. I had one that I had to put hot water in and then vac it out. Took about a hour to open.
