whirlpool cabrio dryer
« on: July 25, 2013, 10:51:19 AM »
Dryer starts and runs for 10-15 seconds, then stops.   It's a whirlpool cabrio and it works fine when plugged in at the shop,  but when I plug it in at my house it stops running, so I believe the problem is with the electric supply.   I checked with a volt meter and it shows 220v across the outlet,  so what else might be the cause?

Check to see if there is a voltage drop with dryer running. Also check both hot legs to neutral with dryer running.
