Replacing clutch
« on: July 20, 2013, 02:35:46 PM »
Anyone have a video on how to replace a clutch assembly on a Whirlpool WTW5500SQ2?
I need assistance with how to remove the brake cam driver.
Thank you

Never mind...there was a little ring I didn't see.  Got it now.
The next thing that gave me grief was getting the retaining clip back on the clutch!!! What a dog!!! You have to get the ring in the hole first then under 3 sides, then lift it with a screwdriver and keep downward pressure on it while pushing the screwdriver toward the shaft and just muscle it!!  (Girls...finesse does not work here.)
